We awoke on Day 3 having stayed overnight in Kochi the birthplace of Sakamoto Ryoma who we thought was a comic book character but is in fact the Father of Modern Day Japan if they hadn't shot him
The beachside of Katsurahama was good for Japan.

We went on to the quaint seaside town of USA which was a highlight
This is where the Japanese made goods after the world war that they could label Made in USA.

Then we drove through these spectacular mountains. Some of the greatest scenery we have seen in Japan.
There was no snow but just as well as the roads would have been impassable

Finally we ended up in Matsuyama at the Famous Dogo Onsen ( Hot Spring)
